Pacific University has recently embarked on a new identity campaign. Over the past several months, the University's Marketing & Communications department has been working closely with Desautel Hege Communication, a marketing and public relations firm in Spokane, Washington, to develop a new "look and feel" for Pacific, and to fine tune methods of communication.
The representatives of the firm have been meeting with and surveying many Pacific alumni, donors, students, staff, faculty, and other constituents."Gathering input from the Pacific family has been our driving force," said Cher Desautel, CEO of Desautel Hege. Along with gathering much information from within the Pacific family, Desautel Hege has been comparing the University and our marketing communications with that of many competitor schools. These findings have resulted in Pacific's new logo. But this new identity is a more than a logo. "The outcome will be a new, consistent brand for all to use that differentiates the University and reinvigorates everyone's Pacific pride."
